An American-type gas pool heater transfers heat from a gas-fired combustion chamber directly to pool water as it passes through the heater’s internal heat exchanger. This arrangement is commonly selected where relatively fast response and independent pool heating are important project requirements.
The heater should be sized from pool volume, target water temperature, expected heat loss, operating schedule and environmental conditions. Gas line capacity, water flow, bypass arrangement, ventilation and flue requirements are equally important to safe and stable operation.
Ultra Heat can integrate the heater with the pool circulation system and controls, including pumps, valves and temperature management. Correct commissioning confirms flow, gas supply and control settings before routine operation.
