Instead of installing a separate water heater for every bathroom or kitchen, a central hot-water system supplies multiple outlets from one designed system.
Correct sizing goes beyond property size. The number of bathrooms and outlets, simultaneous demand, pipe distances and the available energy source all influence the final capacity and configuration.
Depending on the project, the system can use gas, electricity or solar energy and can include storage, return-line circulation and heat-exchange components where required.
